Fiat – otherwise known as Società Anonima Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino – was started in 1899, spearheading Italian industrialisation. It's also best known for holding iconic brands such as Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Lancia under its manufacturing umbrella.
